Convenience is when you can pack the same healthy snack for both your toddler or kiddo as yourself!
No one understands the true struggle of leaving the house with young kids unless you have done it. The packed diapers, toys, and of course, SNACKS! We certainly can not forget the snacks!
One way to make on-the-go life easier and healthier with a young kiddo(s) is to make snacks that both him (or her) and you can enjoy together. I know that applesauce squeeze packet is tempting, Mama, but that’s not where I’m going with this. I’m talking protein packed, nutrients are there for a reason, energizing snacks that even your little picky eater will find tasty as you both munch on them.
So, without further ado, here are several healthy options of snacks for both you and mini you!

2. Chocolate Peanut Butter covered Rice Cake.
Air Fryer Sweet Potato Fries are great to make ahead and bring on the go or eat hot as a snack/side dish. They are super simple, only take about 15 minutes to make, and are a great carbohydrate to give Mama energy while Little One snacks.
The chipotle seasoning used in this recipe makes it easy to simply throw the fries in the air fryer and eat them quickly.

These pancakes are a great, clean snack to put in a plastic baggy and take on the go. They are easy to hold for little ones and packed with protein and whole foods for both mommy and kiddo.

5. Frozen to Thawed Veggies with Chipotle Seasoning
Now this is not the cleanest one to take with you on the go, however, it is so easy to prepare as a quick snack at home. Thawing frozen vegetables like green beans, broccoli, or carrots and then adding chipotle seasoning to them is a great way to make the taste of veggies appeal to your little one more.
Again, the Adkins Chipotle Steak & Fajita Seasoning makes this process so easy and tastes great! However, make sure to only use a small amount for your kiddo, as too much can taste a little bit spicy. You can always add more onto your serving.
This is the perfect, quick nourishing snack!
These are my recommendations towards feeding it to your little one:
- If you make the whole smoothie, let Little One take sips from your cup.
- This smoothie is PACKED with protein. The protein powder used in this recipe is made out of whole foods and safe for littles to ingest. The collagen is also safe. With that said, kids do not need as much protein as we do. If you are making a separate smoothie for him or her, I suggest using only 1 scoop of protein powder and and 1/2 to no scoops of collagen. Discuss protein serving sizes with your pediatrician. .
